My name is Ted Relihan and I have been a fly fishing guide in Western Colorado since 1990. Through the years I have worked with the best guides, fly shops, outfitters and lodges in the area. Using this network I can customize a fly fishing trip for you to sample the many varieties of streams the region has to offer. Spend quality time on the water no matter what your ability. My focus is on you learning and developing the skills as an angler to get the most out of wherever you freshwater fly fish.

This opportunity is for individuals that want to get the most out of their trip. By working with my team of outfitters and land owners it will give you the opportunity to fish a variety of water systems and learn what makes them different and how to fish them. Having your own private instructor and guide for a directed study of casting techniques, stream reading, entomology and fly selection for the duration of the trip can make a world of difference. It is beneficial for the enthusiast that doesn't get much time on their own to fish or for the person just getting into the sport and wants some instruction before that first destination fly fishing trip. If you have a group of people that are interested, I hand pick the most professional guides I know to assist in making it the best day on the water for everyone involved. I respect them for their knowledge of their home waters and the ability to share and communicate it effectively.

The rivers to fish are private rod fee access on the White River and Uncompahgre. Public access on the Roaring Fork River, the Frying Pan River, and the Colorado plus some of its smaller tributaries. The Green River in Utah adds some gorgeous float and wade trip options too. There are wonderful lodges where I can host you or your group as well. Depending on what options you chose we'll travel to the different locales and wade or float with some of the best in the business. See the links available for information on the respective areas and then fill out the information prompt with your interests.

A 1 or 2 day trip in a select spot may be fulfilling but for the maximum diversity 3 or more days can be the most rewarding and cover more ground. Trip prices may vary depending on where you want to go and if we wade or float. Its suggested you have your own gear unless prior arrangements have been made. Lunch and flies are included within reason and I can find or recommend lodging depending on your tastes. A credit card deposit will be required to hold a booking with all outfitters and lodging.
